Trinidad Cabildos LE 2024 launched in London
The first 2024 limited edition was launched a few months after its presentation in Cuba.
“The Trinidad Year” continues. Launched last February during the XXIVth Festival del Habano, the year-long celebration of Trinidad’s 55th anniversary continued this weekend in London. After the world launch of the Bolivar Regentes LE 2021 at the beginning of the year, the British capital last week hosted the first “in-person” edition of the Habanos World Days, a sort of Festival del Habano in scale.
After a welcome cocktail on Thursday June 20 and a series of conferences the following day, the Trinidad Cabildos limited edition 2024 (162 mm x 46) was officially presented during the gala dinner closing the event. The evening was organized in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
For dinner, guests were welcomed in the Raphaël Cartonos gallery, a 16th century masterpiece.
During the dinner, the auction of five prestigious humidors raised €5,150,000 for the benefit of the Cuban health system.
At the end of the evening, participants were offered a box of 5 cigars specially created for the occasion and which will be sold only in the United Kingdom for the coming weeks (photo below).
Traditionally, the country that hosts the launch party of a new Habanos benefits from a period of exclusivity of a few weeks to a few months. It is unknown when the other two 2024 limited editions, the H. Upmann Magnum Finite (130 mm x 53) and the Ramon Allones Absolutos (156 mm x 49), will be launched.
