L’Amateur de Cigare English edition #17 is available for free
Summary
London: The City Where The Habano Is King
There is a town teeming with beautiful shops boasting (often very comfortable) smoking lounges, where a wide selection of Cuban cigars is still available, and where the idea of banning heated terraces would be received, at best, with wry smile. In short, it is a paradise for cigar lovers. On the flipside, this paradise has some of the highest cigar prices in the world, whether they be Cuban or not.
News from Cuba
Still under heavy pressure on the supply front, Habanos S.A. continues to hold back when it comes to new releases. Only one new addition to their regular catalogue was announced at this year’s Habanos Festival. All the other cigars showcased will be time-limited. The star brand was Trinidad, whose Cuban directors are looking to boost sales.
