Humidor : how to use it
Before using it, wipe the inside of the humidor with a damp cloth then keep it closed for a day. Try not to overfill it, so the air can circulate properly. We advise you to keep a cedar leaf between the humidifier and the first row of cigars. Open the humidor regularly and move your cigars around. And finally, use trays and separators to ensure the cigars are humidified evenly.
For the humidifier and hygrometer
Moisten foam humidifiers with water or a propylene glycol-based solution (on sale in most cigar stores). Before first use, test your hygrometer by wrapping it in a damp tea towel. One hour later, it should read at least 90 % humidity.
Don’t forget
For optimum storage, the room temperature should be between 18 ° and 21 °C and humidity should be between 70 and 75 %.
