The creator of the Dominican Davidoff will leave the presidency of the association of producers of the Dominican Republic.

According to our sources, Henke Kelner informed his relatives that the Procigar festival organized from February 22 to 25 would be his last as president of the Procigar association which brings together the main producers of Dominican cigars.

Creator of the new Davidoff cigars after their departure from Cuba in 1989, Hendrik Kelner, whom everyone nicknames “Henke”, has chaired the Procigar association since its creation in 1992.

He is 76 years old.
